Lake wind advisory for Kern River Valley until Thursday night, says the NWS

The NWS Hanford CA issued a lake wind advisory at 6:41 a.m. on Tuesday valid from 5 p.m. until Thursday 11 p.m. for Kern River Valley.

"West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph," can be expected according to the NWS. "Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create hazardous conditions for small craft."
