Lake wind advisory active for West Side Mountains north of 198 until early Sunday

The NWS Hanford CA released a lake wind advisory at noon on Saturday valid from 5 p.m. until Sunday midnight for West Side Mountains north of 198.

The NWS informs, "West winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph expected."

"Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create hazardous conditions for small craft," states the NWS. "Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution."

This advisory is in effect until Sunday at midnight.
