Lake wind advisory affecting West Side Mountains north of 198 and Los Banos - Dos Palos

On Friday at 9:48 a.m. a lake wind advisory was released by the NWS Hanford CA valid from 11 p.m. until Saturday 11 p.m. for West Side Mountains north of 198 and Los Banos - Dos Palos.

The NWS informs, "West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph expected."

"Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create hazardous conditions for small craft," states the NWS. "Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution."

This advisory is in effect until Saturday at 11 p.m.
