Planning to celebrate Easter in San Luis Obispo?

The weather likely won’t be an issue this weekend.

Your egg hunts and holiday gatherings may be blessed with some sunshine.

Sunny skies and warm temperatures are expected across the county most of this weekend, according to the latest National Weather Service forecast.

“Skies will slowly clear today and a warming trend will start,” according to weather service meteorologists. “Even warmer temperatures are expected Saturday through the middle of next week.”

What is the weather forecast for San Luis Obispo?

Mostly sunny conditions were expected in SLO on Friday, according to the National Weather Service’s seven-day forecast.

The high temperature will be around 66 degrees, with afternoon wind gusts up to 15 mph. Clouds will return in the evening, and the overnight low will be 48 degrees, the weather service said.

On Saturday, it will start cloudy followed by sunshine with a high temperature near 68 degrees, according to the forecast.

Patchy fog will appear after 11 p.m., and the overnight low will be around 48.

Easter morning in San Luis Obispo is expected to be a little foggy before 11 a.m., but then will be mostly sunny with a high of 69 degrees, the weather service said.

“Some pretty nice weather, and no winds of note, really no precipitation,” Mike Wofford, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service said. “Should be a pretty nice day.”

Sunday evening will be mostly clear with a low temperature near 48.

Mostly sunny conditions will continue on Monday and Tuesday, with highs of 68 and 65 degrees, respectively.

What will the weather be like in Paso Robles?

According to the National Weather Service’s forecast, morning clouds will give way to sun and calm winds in Paso Robles on Friday. The high temperature is expected to be near 72 degrees.

Mostly clear conditions will continue in the evening with light wind gusts reaching up to 10 mph. The overnight low will be 41 degrees.

On Saturday, it will be sunny and windy with a high around 75 degrees. Southwest winds could gust as high as 15 mph, the weather service said.

Saturday night will remain clear with wind gusts up to 15 mph. The overnight low temperature will be near 44 degrees, according to the forecast.

Warm temperatures and sunny skies are expected all of Easter Sunday with a high around 77 degrees. The evening low temperature will be around 44, the National Weather Service said.

Similar sunny conditions will continue Monday and Tuesday, when the high temperatures are 78 and 75 degrees, respectively.

Will rain return to SLO County?

Mainly sunny skies are forecast for San Luis Obispo County for the remainder of April, according to the National Weather Service.

“We don’t really see any rain of note coming into the area,” Wofford said. “If we get some morning clouds, sometimes you can get a little drizzle out of that, but in terms of storms, we don’t have anything coming.”
