Nearly 3 inches of rain fell in this SLO County spot. How much did your area get?
After a series of back-to-back storms, San Luis Obispo County could see a substantial break in rain, according to the National Weather Service.
The region is expected to experience sunny skies through at least April 5, the Weather Service said in its latest forecast.
Despite the sunshine, the agency predicted that the weather will remain chilly with temperatures at about 3 to 6 degrees below normal for this time of year.
High temperatures aren’t expected to push past the mid-60s through next Wednesday, the Weather Service predicts.
The sunshine comes after yet another winter storm brought rainfall to the overflowing lakes and reservoirs of the Central Coast.
Nearly 3 inches of rain fell over the past two days at Rocky Butte northeast of Cambria, according to the Weather Service.
Anywhere from 0.31 inches to 1.82 inches of rain fell in other areas in the same timeframe, the Weather Service’s data show.
