Here’s how much rain SLO County towns received overnight, with more on the way

Cloudy skies continue to bring rain and showers to San Luis Obispo County.

The most recent weather system brought between 0.60 and 1.25 inches of rain to many Central Coast towns, according to PG&E meteorologist John Lindsey, including 0.67 inches in Atascadero, 0.79 in San Luis Obispo, 0.72 in Arroyo Grande and 1.20 at Diablo Canyon.

Last week’s rain pushed this month past the average total for March, and those numbers continue to rise.

The National Weather Service forecasts a chance of showers on and off from Tuesday night until Thursday evening. Warmer weather and clear skies are expected away from the coast around Friday and Saturday, according to Lindsey.
