Sylvester’s Burgers offers free grub to graduating high school seniors

The coronavirus pandemic has canceled all traditional high school graduation ceremonies, but a local burger chain still wants to make sure graduating seniors are honored for their accomplishments.

Sylvester’s Burgers restaurants in Atascadero, Los Osos and Oceano are offering free burgers to graduating high school seniors, according to a news release.

All the students need to do is show their student IDs at the register, the release said.

“Just because graduating seniors don’t get to walk this year doesn’t mean they shouldn’t feel special,” the release read. “We want to reward the hardworking high school seniors in our community the best way we can.”

The free burger offer will run through Thursday, according to the release.
