Lucia Mar school board incumbents confirm campaigns

All three Lucia Mar Unified School District trustees up for re-election will attempt to retain their seats this fall.

Trustees Vicki Meagher, Dee Santos and Don Stewart all confirmed that they intend to run for re-election in the Nov. 8 general election.

Santos and Stewart represent Area 4, which includes Pismo Beach, while Meagher represents Area 2, which encompasses Arroyo Grande.

Trustees are elected for four-year terms on the board.

Challengers who want to run for a seat on the school board must file candidacy forms with the San Luis Obispo County Clerk-Recorder. Call 805-781-5228.
