San Luis Obispo County District Attorney Dan Dow has endorsed John Peschong for 1st District county supervisor.
Peschong, a small-business owner and political organizer, is running to succeed Supervisor Frank Mecham, who is not running for re-election. The district includes much of the North County, including Paso Robles, San Miguel and Templeton.
“I’m confident that John is the best choice for supervisor because, like me, he believes public safety should always be our elected leaders’ top priority,” Dow said. “As our departments work to combat local threats such as gang activity in the region, John’s knowledge of the community and commitment to keeping families safe will surely serve as an instrumental piece of this fight.”
Peschong said he is honored to have Dow’s support. He said he looks forward to working with Dow to protect public safety.
