Bee Gees mom Barbara Gibb dies in Miami at 95
The matriarch of the Bee Gees, Barbara Gibb, has died in Miami at 95, according to reports.
Gibb, who was born in Manchester, England, but lived in Miami for two decades, was surrounded by family and friends when she died, Billboard reported.
Nine years ago, Gibb made a bittersweet appearance when she sat next to her son, Robin, during a park dedication for her late son, Maurice, another member of the Bee Gees.
Maurice died in 2003 and Robin died four years ago. Only the group’s Barry Gibb survives. Another singer son, Andy Gibb, died in 1988.
