A 21-year-old man is accused of forcing an 8-year-old girl to take an inappropriate photo of herself at a Bible study, Pennsylvania police said.

Michael McFarland knew the young girl from a church in Carnegie, according to police. The Bible study, when the incident took place, was at a home in nearby South Park Township, Allegheny County police said in a May 20 Facebook post.

McFarland had the girl take the photo, using his cellphone, in a bathroom, police said.

Police received a hotline report concerning the incident. During the investigation, they discovered 11 additional inappropriate photos of seven young girls on McFarland’s phone.

As of May 20, police said they have not been able to identify the additional victims.

McFarland was arrested May 16 and faces charges of with unlawful contact with a minor, criminal solicitation and sexual abuse of children.

South Park Township is about a 15-mile drive south of Pittsburgh.
