An oddly familiar shape on a Google Earth satellite photo of Colorado has some Bigfoot fans guessing it might be their favorite cryptid. But others aren’t so sure.

A Reddit forum devoted to Bigfoot discovered the strange shape, which appears to resemble photos claimed to show sasquatch striding through the forest, on Google Earth.

The shape can be found at coordinates 38°16’24” N. 108°08’32”, which correspond to a location in Montrose County in western Colorado.

“Is definitely ‘Sasquatch shaped’ but it literally could be anything, even a puddle,” the original post reads. “Regardless I found it to be pretty entertaining to view and wanted to see what y’all think?”

Some commenters agreed the shape seemed suspiciously Bigfoot-shaped, especially since the original poster estimated it to be about 7 feet tall.

“The subject does not appear on other satellite images from different years, which can imply the subject is mobile,” read one post.

But others said it’s more likely a pond, shadow, or other natural feature that appears and disappears based on the angle of the sun or other factors.

“It’s me,” joked one poster, prompting more humorous remarks about having “found” Bigfoot.

“Thanks for posting this, Bigfoot or not it’s fun!” read another post.

Bigfoot “sightings” have been reported across the country, like this one in Washington, and this one in North Carolina, and perhaps this one in Georgia.
