House listed in Arizona has amazing Wiffle ball field. You have to see it to believe it
A house on the real estate market in Scottsdale, Arizona, for $1.99 million has something extra you barely ever see in a home — a huge, pro-looking Wiffle ball field.
And a wild one at that.
The field takes up a large portion of the backyard of the five-bedroom, three-bathroom home, and while it’s an extremely cool feature, it’s not the only awesome thing about the residence. Other features, according to the listing on Zillow.com, include:
Artistic gourmet kitchen
Convertible “speakeasy”
Dolby movie theater
Podcast/broadcast studio
Swimming pool “with a waterfall grotto and slide”
Another feature that any sports lover will appreciate? A batting cage “with protective L screens,” the listing says.
The 3,293-square-foot home caught the attention of Zillow Gone Wild, a popular real estate page on Facebook, and people became obsessed.
“This house is like (Don) Mattingly’s mullet… business in the front, party in the back,” one person joked about the Miami Marlins manager. “Tagline: Put in your best offer today. No need to mullet over.”
“This might be my dream house and I just didn’t know it until now,” someone said.
“People are seriously underestimating this house,” another commented. “Slosh Ball every weekend with a keg of beer on first base. You have to pound a beer before you run to 2nd base. Hook up a slip and slide headed into home base, and you’re set.”
“I wonder if it was a Airbnb targeted at people visiting for spring training?” one person asked.
“This is the kind of space my husband and I would have if we ever got stupid rich winning the lottery,” another observed. “I’d only change the terrible red LED lights in the kitchen and paint colors. Otherwise, love it.”
“This is like….an awesome family house,” someone said. “Imagine having kids and having family baseball games where you invite all of your family and friends. Or an awesome movie night in the theater, and batting practice nights with a nice swim after to cool off.”
“This is one of the best houses I’ve ever seen on here!” another commented. “Amazing!”
“Amazing,” one person said. “Never saw a home with its own baseball field.”
