Company wants a ‘Karen’ and will pay $65 an hour to be hypercritical and opinionated

If you’ve ever been accused of being a ‘Karen,’ this review website has quite the opportunity for you.

Dehumidifier Critic, a website that does exactly what it seems — compare, critique and review dehumidifiers — says it’s looking for a professional ‘Karen’ to review products and offer advice.

The best part? The gig is paid.

No, your name doesn’t actually have to be Karen — the company just asks that you be a “Karen by nature.”

The ideal candidate will also have top-notch customer service skills and plenty of room at home to test out products, the company said.

The chosen Karen will be charged with writing three honest reviews a week and serving as the “voice and authority” of the site’s Call-A-Karen service, which gives customers the opportunity to call in for advice and product recommendations.

The role is remote and pays a cool $65 an hour.

To apply, you’ll be asked to explain what, exactly, makes you a Karen, such as a description of your character or an anecdote of a time you handled an issue in a particularly Karen-like manner.

You have to be over 21 to apply, and your online application must be submitted by Aug. 31, the company said.

Sound like the role of your dreams? The application can be found here.

The job ad states that those who fill it out are giving the company permission to send them information about products.
