Panty-sniffing handyman caught on nanny cam in woman’s apartment, Arizona cops say
A woman checking a nanny cam while out of her Arizona apartment got a shock when she spotted a handyman sniffing panties from her underwear drawer, KNXV reports.
Tempe police arrested Jesus Torres Hernandez, 45, a maintenance worker at the woman’s complex, on suspicion of criminal trespass Feb. 3, AZ Family reported.
The tenant says she saw Hernandez sniff her panties through a wi-fi video feed, though still photos from the nanny cam only show him handling the underwear, KPNX reported.
Hernandez had entered the woman’s apartment on a legitimate work order to change an air filter, but police say the visit became criminal when he began rifling through her underwear drawer, according to AZ Family.
Police say he admitted picking up the woman’s underwear but denied sniffing it, KNXV reported.
The woman and her family were not home at the time, KPNX reported.
