Cal Poly’s Veterans Success Center is collaborating with campus groups and community organizations for Veterans Awareness Week, which runs Monday through Friday, to showcase services and opportunities available to veterans. The campus will be closed Veterans Day (Wednesday), but the rest of the week Cal Poly vets and partner groups will staff booths in the University Union Plaza from 11 a.m. to noon with the following themes:

Monday — Support for Underrepresented Populations at Cal Poly. The campus Gender Equity, MultiCultural and Pride centers will outline services and programs that support students under the shared values of family, diversity, learning, growth and advocacy.

Tuesday — The Importance of Leadership. Club sports teams, Center of Leadership and Service, and Cal Poly ROTC will answer questions.

Thursday — Job Opportunities for Engineers and Beyond. Southern California Edison reps will answer questions about working for the utility; Cal Poly’s Quality of Life Plus Laboratory, which develops and applies technology for wounded and disabled vets, will offer information.
