Paso Robles High School principal Megan Fletcher was abruptly placed on paid administrative leave Monday, district spokesperson Melissa Godsey confirmed to The Tribune.

The Paso Robles school district did not provide additional information about the circumstances surrounding Fletcher’s leave.

According to the district, assistant principal and athletic director Mike Susank will take over as interim principal.

The superintendent’s office shared the same information with Paso Robles families Monday, according to screenshots of an email provided to The Tribune.

The email said that academic programs and student services would continue as normal.

“Our focus remains on providing a safe, welcoming and high-quality educational experience for every student,” the email read.
