It’s been 25 years since The Tribune’s Class of 2000 graduated. Where are they now?

In 1987, 26 kindergartners in Sue Babcock’s afternoon class at Sinsheimer Elementary were enlisted to be a part of unique reporting project.

The project, called the Class of 2000, followed those students throughout their San Luis Obispo County academic careers — from the earliest school days to junior high and high school, eventually ending with their graduation in 2000. During that time we reported on their opinions about video games, their home lives, their classes and more.

Now, 25 years later, The Tribune wants to know what they are up to and how their time in the project impacted their lives. Do they remember what it was like taking part? Did it influence them in some way throughout their school careers? What wisdom would they like to impart on today’s kids?

We’re hoping to get in contact with the students who took part in the project once again and we need some help.

If you were one of the students involved in the project, please fill out the form embedded below. Your responses will help shape a feature article following where the Class of 2000 is today. If the form isn’t loading, you can also see it here.

If you weren’t in the project but know somebody who was, please send this link to them to help spread the word.

We look forward to hearing from everybody!
