How much are Cal Poly employees paid?

As part of a Tribune analysis of university employee salaries by gender and ethnicity, The Tribune filed a public records act request for Cal Poly’s complete roster of employees and their pay from 2019 and 2020.

The analysis showed that women generally are paid less than men, and ethnic minorities are paid less than white employees. But the university has made strides in closing those pay equity gaps over the last few years.

The Tribune has collected the salary information into a searchable database, beginning with Cal Poly President Jeffrey Armstrong, who made $456,396 in 2020. You can find for any employee using the search bar, or click on the column titles to sort them.
