Following a nearly three-month investigation, the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office announced in a news release Wednesday that it shut down a local methamphetamine distribution ring with ties to Mexican drug cartels.

Since June, the Sheriff’s Office has arrested nine people allegedly tied to the organization on suspicion of charges including felony conspiracy, following a series of search warrants served at nine homes in north San Luis Obispo and San Bernardino counties. During the searches, about 2 pounds of methamphetamine was seized, as well as two handguns and ammunition, the news release said.

As of Wednesday, four people remained at large with warrants out for their arrests. Sheriff’s spokesman Tony Cipolla said officials suspect cartels are involved because of evidence collected when the nine homes were searched. The investigation is ongoing.

Those arrested are:

  • Jesus Manuel Flores Ayala, 37, of Paso Robles
  • Clarice Christensen, 59, of Paso Robles
  • Harold Johnson, 59, of Paso Robles
  • Ismael Garcia Cruz, 22, of Paso Robles
  • Hugo Ubaldo, 27, of Paso Robles
  • Angelica Solorio Lopez, 42, of Paso Robles
  • Wendy Millan, 28, of San Miguel
  • Lisa Becerra, 44, of Atascadero
  • Kevin Snyder, 30, of Atascadero

The Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating the following people:

  • Francisco Simon Wbaldo, 30, of Paso Robles
  • Detra Nash, 53, of Atascadero
  • Kansas Anderson Dorsey, 26, of Shandon
  • Froilan Flores Gonzalez, 44, of Hesperia

Court records for those arrested were not immediately available Wednesday. Cipolla said the organization does not pose a threat to public safety.

Anyone with information about the outstanding suspects is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 781-4550, or leave an anonymous tip at Crimes Stoppers at 549-STOP.
