Detectives on Thursday arrested a fifth suspect for his alleged involvement in holding up a house full of partygoers in rural Templeton.
Witnesses told police three to five men entered a house early Wednesday where about 20 teenagers and young adults were attending a party. They allegedly fired gunshots in the air and told everyone to get down on the ground, then stole cellphones, wallets and two vehicles parked outside, the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies and Atascadero police arrested four teenagers in connection with the robbery, but were looking for a fifth suspect. The Sheriff’s Office Gang Task Force found the 16-year-old fifth suspect on Thursday at Templeton Skate Park.
Detectives interviewed and arrested the teenager on suspicion of crimes related to the home invasion. There are no more outstanding suspects in the case, authorities said.
The two adult suspects arrested, Donovan James Alvord, 19, of Templeton and Albert Charles Heinicke Jr., 18, of Avila Beach remain in custody at the San Luis Obispo County Jail. Alvord’s and Heinicke’s bail amounts were set at about $1.2 million on Thursday. Information on the juvenile suspects was not released.
