A Paso Robles man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of possession of child pornography after allegedly incriminating images were found on his computers.
The Paso Robles Police Department began investigating Ernesto Barajas, 23, in June after receiving a tip from the Central California Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, according to a police department news release.
Detectives obtained a warrant to search an apartment in the 3000 block of Spring Street, where they seized several computers. A forensic investigation of the computers turned up files that contained child pornography images and videos.
Officers on Thursday interviewed Barajas and arrested him on suspicion of child pornography possession. He was being held in the San Luis Obispo County Jail in lieu of $35,000 bail.
