Four arrested in SLO police DUI saturation patrol
San Luis Obispo police arrested four individuals during a May 5 DUI saturation patrol.
The special patrol was conducted between 7 p.m. and 3 a.m. throughout San Luis Obispo with the purpose of deterring impaired driving.
Officers stopped 39 vehicles during the patrol, according to a San Luis Obispo Police Department news release. One driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. Three individuals were arrested on suspicion of other criminal charges, and five citations were issued.
The patrol was funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Officers will conduct another patrol June 4.
