Paso Robles police arrest man suspected of selling drugs at Wine Country Inn
Paso Robles police on Wednesday arrested a man suspected of selling drugs at the Wine Country Inn.
Paul Vernon Alley, 48, of Grover Beach was booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail on suspicion of possession of heroin for sale, possession of methamphetamine for sale and possession of narcotic paraphernalia, according to a Paso Robles Police Department news release.
Detectives also found 16 grams of black tar heroin, 6 grams of methamphetamine, scales, drug packaging and $4,200 in cash.
Alley’s arrest came after Paso Robles and Atascadero police detectives began a monthlong investigation into complaints of drug sales allegedly occurring in a room at the Wine Country Inn at 3548 Spring St. in Paso Robles.
He was being held in jail on a $25,500 bond as of Thursday afternoon.
