Atascadero police are investigating several incidents in which a man attempted to expose himself to females, including two children, from the inside of a truck.

Police say between September and December, there have been four reports of a man exposing himself in the area of Traffic Way. The first two incidents occurred in September and October and involved two adult women.

The two most recent incidents occurred Tuesday and involved two juvenile girls, Sgt. Jason Carr said Wednesday.

According to Carr, an 11-year-old girl was walking home from school Tuesday when a man in a truck called her over and exposed himself. The girl ran away, and the incident was reported about a half hour later, Carr said. Carr said another similar incident was reported the same day.

In each incident, the man is described as a white adult male in his 20s, average build, with light brown or red hair. The suspect vehicle was described as a newer “shiny” black Ford F-150, possibly with a light brown stripe on its sides, according to police. No license plate has been seen.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Atascadero Police Department at 805-461-5051.
