Two Paso Robles men suspected of home burglaries

Two Paso Robles men were arrested this week as suspects in two daytime home burglaries that occurred Tuesday.

The burglarized homes were in the 100 block of Rosemary Drive and the 100 block of San Augustine Drive in Paso Robles, according to the Paso Robles Police Department.

While investigating the burglaries, officers arrested Romi Macias, 19, at about 7:40 p.m. Tuesday on Niblick Road. Officers arrested Elijah Cooper, 23, at about 2:10 p.m. Wednesday on Pine Street, Paso Robles police said.

Macias was booked into County Jail on suspicion of felony burglary and a probation violation. Cooper was booked into jail on suspicion of two misdemeanor and a parole violation.

Paso Robles police are investigation whether the two suspects may have been involved in other recent home burglaries. Anyone with information is asked to call the police department at 237-6464.
