Sheriff’s Office investigators are looking to reunite recent theft victims with their property following the arrest of two Paso Robles men allegedly found with all-terrain vehicles, work tools, guns and other items believed to have been stolen in recent months from properties in rural North County.
Hector Flores Hernandez, 35, and Genaro Rendon Zamora, 28, were arrested Monday on suspicion of possession of stolen property, the Sheriff’s Office in a news release Thursday. Both men were booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail but were no longer listed in custody Thursday.
Sheriff’s investigators are releasing few details of the pair’s crimes in order to protect their efforts to return other possibly stolen property — including generators, air compressors, leaf-blowing equipment and a firearm. Items already returned to their owners include a Kubota RTV 500 all-terrain vehicle, an electric golf cart and a rifle.
Anyone who believes they have had items stolen is asked to call Dispatch at 781-4550 and provide a description of the item. The Sheriff’s Office said their may be more suspects and warned residents to secure and mark valuables as well as report any suspicious activity in their area.
