Woman dies in apparent domestic violence incident in Oceano
A woman was found dead in Oceano from a possible domestic violence-related incident early Sunday morning, according to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to a report of domestic violence in the 2100 block of Warner Street in Oceano at around 12:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, they found a woman in her 20s dead from knife-inflicted injuries and a man, also in his 20s, suffering from self-inflicted knife wounds, according to Sgt. Kenitz.
The man was transported to a nearby hospital, where he remains in serious but stable condition, said Kenitz.
There are no outstanding suspects in the case, and no further information will be released until the next of kin is notified, Kenitz said.
The incident is still under investigation.
