Wrong-way driver crashes into truck in suspected DUI in downtown SLO

A suspected DUI crash in downtown San Luis Obispo sent one person to the hospital on Wednesday night, the San Luis Obispo Police Department said.

At about 10:45 p.m., a Ford pickup truck driving the wrong way on Marsh Street turned left onto Carmel Street and crashed into a Chevy pickup truck, police said.

The Chevy driver suffered minor injuries in the crash and was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Police arrested the Ford driver for suspected DUI, police said. Police did not release the names of either involved drivers.
