Thief used stolen card to buy $5,000 in items from Apple Store, SLO police say

San Luis Obispo police are searching for a thief who allegedly used a stolen credit card to purchase $5,000 of merchandise from the Apple Store in San Luis Obispo.

The theft took place at the Apple Store on Higuera Street on Oct. 24, the San Luis Obispo Police Department said in a social media post on Tuesday.

The thief then tried to purchase products from Lululemon on Higuera Street in San Luis Obispo, the Police Department said.

The suspect was wearing a black baseball cap, brown sweatpants and a brown hoodie sweatshirt along with black sneakers, according to a photo posted by the Police Department on Facebook.
