Have you seen these trucks? SLO County sheriff searching for missing woman
The San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s Office took in new evidence in the case of a missing Coalinga woman — but now the office needs the public’s help.
Isabel Lucas Velasco, 50, went missing in SLO County on Sept. 13, under what the Sheriff’s Office described at the time as “suspicious circumstances.” She stands 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs roughly 145 pounds.
The Sheriff’s Office Detective Division seized two vehicles for evidence in relation to her disappearance, the office said in a news release Monday.
Both vehicles are pickup trucks — one a two-door, red 2015 Toyota Tacoma with a California license plate 86979T1, and the other a four-door, white 2001 Nissan Frontier with California plate 94125H3.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help regarding any sightings or interactions with either of these vehicles on the night of Sept. 12 and/or the day of Sept. 14 in the Coalinga or Avenal areas, specifically near or around Highway 198 west of Coalinga.
Anyone who saw these vehicles or captured them on surveillance cameras is asked to contact the SLO County Sheriff’s Office Detective Division at 805-781-4500. or Crime Stoppers at 805-549-7867 or online at www.slotips.org.
