Person allegedly selling meth arrested after Pismo Beach police spot car in no park zone
A person was arrested in Pismo Beach on Saturday after police allegedly found nearly a pound of suspected methamphetamine in their car.
In an Instagram post Tuesday, the Pismo Beach Police Department said its night shift team contacted the occupant of a parked vehicle in a no parking zone of the Bluffs parking lot just after midnight.
Police found the person had a felony warrant for drug sales charges and placed them under arrest, the post said.
A search of the person’s vehicle found nearly a pound of suspected methamphetamine, ammunition and items indicating drug sales, police said.
The agency said the person was arrested and booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail on suspicion of an outstanding warrant for drug sales, as well as suspected charges of drug sales, being a prohibited person in possession of ammunition and committing a felony while out on bail.
The person’s name was not released.
