Two men wearing skull masks robbed a Nipomo taco truck late Thursday night before fleeing the scene.

San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Tony Cipolla told The Tribune that two suspects robbed a taco truck on the corner of Hutton Road and Cuyama Lane around 9:50 p.m.

“The suspects made off with some cash,” Cipolla said.

According to emergency scanner traffic, two males allegedly walked up to the victim and told the person to give them all their money or they would kill them. The suspects were described as two male adults wearing all-black clothing and black masks with skulls on them.

Both reportedly displayed a gun, according to emergency radio traffic.

Cipolla said the suspects fled in a dark-colored sedan, and were last seen heading southbound on Highway 101.

The incident is currently under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 805-781-4550.
