2 people go ‘full ninja’ on cactus planters in downtown SLO. See the video

Several cactus plants in San Luis Obispo were the victims of a curious attack by two people caught on security video Wednesday evening, according to the San Luis Obispo Police Department.

Surveillance footage captured on Court Street shows two people kicking and knocking over the cacti, uprooting them from the planters and breaking their stalks.

“Late Wednesday night, two people went full ninja on the cactus and planters in the courtyard adjacent to Seeds on Court Street causing over $1,000 in damage,” the department said on Instagram.

The department is asking for the public’s help identifying the two cactus assailants and invited community members to call Officer Cox at 805-594-8019 with details.
