SLO County man arrested on suspicion of molesting girl
The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office has arrested an Oceano man suspected of molesting a child.
Sheriff’s Office detectives received a report of suspected child molestation in Oceano on Feb. 25, a news release from the Sheriff’s Office said, leading to an investigation that revealed Larry Jacob Weiss, 69, had contact with a female victim the week prior at his Oceano home.
Weiss was arrested and booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail on Tuesday on four counts of committing a lewd act with a child under 14 with force and oral copulation or sexual penetration with a victim 10 years or younger.
Weiss’ bail was set at $500,000, and he remains in jail.
