The Santa Maria Police Department is investigating a triple stabbing that took place Saturday night.

The stabbings occurred in the 400 block of North Railroad Avenue. The condition of the three victims has not been released.

The police department tweeted about the incident around 11 p.m. and blocked off the road for several hours.

The stabbings happened after Santa Maria’s 9 p.m. curfew — which was implemented in response to vandalism and a stabbing that took place after a peaceful protest May 31. The curfew, which goes from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., is scheduled to end Monday morning.

This is an ongoing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
