A Sacramento man and woman are in jail on suspicion of engineering a prostitution session-turned-strong-arm robbery.
San Luis Obispo police say the victim was a man who responded to an online ad for sexual services posted by Anetta Eaton, 24. After the man showed up at Eaton’s hotel room on the 1600 block of Calle Joaquin, 23-year-old Tierra Washington “entered the room unexpectedly” and “took the victim’s money and rummaged through his wallet,” according to SLO police.
Police said the man was afraid for his well-being and fled the room to call 911. By the time officers arrived, Eaton and Washington were gone, but the two later were found and arrested in an Atascadero hotel room on the 9400 block of El Camino Real.
Eaton and Washington are being held at County Jail on $30,000 bail on suspicion of felony robbery and conspiracy, while Eaton also is suspected of solicitation of prostitution. Neither has been charged yet.

Sgt. John Villanti said police also recommended a misdemeanor solicitation of prostitution charge for the victim, but that filing that lesser charge would be at the discretion of the San Luis Obispo County District Attorney’s Office.
