2 men arrested after police say they lied about Arroyo Grande car crash
Two men were arrested Saturday in Arroyo Grande after police said they lied about a car crash.
The crash happened just before 3 p.m. in the 400 block of Dixson Street, police said, and involved one car hitting a parked car in a residence’s driveway. The parked car then struck the residence.
At the scene, one of the men, Angelo Patacsil, 21, claimed he was the driver of the car, but officers later learned that Felix Patacsil, 66, was driving. Both men were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy and delaying a peace officer.
Both were taken to the San Luis Obispo County Jail. As of Tuesday morning, neither man was listed in the jail records.
