Russian ensemble to sing at Mission San Miguel

On Friday at 7 p.m. the St. Petersburg Men’s Ensemble from Russia presents a concert at Mission San Miguel, “Masterpieces of Russian Choral Music.”

A goodwill offering of $15 is requested. CDs and Russian handicrafts will be available for purchase.

Bingo on Friday

On Friday at 6 p.m. play bingo at the San Miguel Senior Center, 601 12th St. off N Street on the east side of town. Play 10 games at 50 cents per card and enjoy refreshments.

Tuesday, May 17: Coffee with the CHP at 9 a.m. at the San Miguel CSD office, 1150 Mission St. Lt. Scott Parker will discuss your concerns and give information about the Highway Patrol. The CHP is in charge of traffic in the unincorporated towns in the county.

Wednesday, May 25: The San Miguel Advisory Council meets at 7 p.m. at the Community Building in the park. Nominations are still being taken for June elections to fill four open seats. The council is the advisory to the county Board of Supervisors and the planning department. For information, call Mike Sanders at 712-9120.

Thursday, May 26: Community Services District board meets at 7 p.m. at the CSD office.

Friday and Saturday, May 27-28: San Miguel Cruise Night and Car Show hosted by the Chamber of Commerce. Call Mike Sanders at 712-9120 or go to smcarshow2016@yahoo.com.
