Enjoy Thanksgiving and weekend events in San Miguel

The Chamber of Commerce has a new, improved website. Check it out.

Friends of the Adobes have a new supply of their popular and delicious cactus jelly on the shelves at the Rios-Caledonia Adobe just off Highway 101 south of the mission. Next week, they will add jars of pomegranate jelly. They are open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

North River Road between Magdalena Drive and Mission Drive is under construction. The county is working to straighten and level parts of the road. Work is estimated to be completed in February. Be prepared to slow and stop or take an alternate route during construction.

There will be a San Miguel Community Garage Sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5. To participate by having your address on a map for the day, email Noel Carpenter with your name and address at noelcarpenter@kw.com, or for more information, call 835-3828.

Reminders: Thursday: Enjoy a happy Thanksgiving Day! Friday, Saturday and Sunday: Shop the Busy Bees Holiday Craft and Bake Sale at Mission San Miguel from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Sunday: Attend the holiday concert at 3 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 940 Creston Road, Paso Robles.
