On Halloween night at 5 p.m., the Lighthouse Community Church on the corner of 13th and L streets is having a Harvest Festival.

There will be candy, games with prizes, and fun for all families that attend.

New art gallery

Susan Clark has opened the Casa San Miguel Studio and Gallery at 1383 Mission St.

The gallery will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays to display works of local artists. Music will be provided by Jim Sanchez.

Art and music lessons are offered by appointment only. For more information, call 835-6373.

Downtown changes

The demolition of the old building next to the San Miguel Mercantile and the laundromat is being done in preparation to build several shops that will be rented to the public.

San Miguel is in need of retail spaces, so this will be a most welcome addition to the downtown business district.

Singers wanted

The New World Baroque Orchestra will present its Christmas Concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 29, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Paso Robles.

A combined community choir will perform along with the Trinity and St. Rose Children’s Choirs, the Trinity Bell Choir and guest soloists.

Rehearsals begin Nov. 6 at the church at 940 Creston Road. For information, call 238-3575.

Reminder

Symphony of the Vines performs at Mission San Miguel at 3 p.m. Sunday.
