The works of Los Osos resident Kathleen VanHyfte are on display at the Cambria Library through Aug. 30.

VanHyfte, a member of Allied Arts in Cambria and the Morro Bay Art Association, moved to Los Osos in 2015 to be closer to her son, who lives in Los Angeles. Before moving to the Central Coast, she was involved in many art organizations and took part in various juried shows in the Midwest region. She also taught briefly at the Figge Art Museum in Davenport.
