Art & Wine Fest coming to Cambria Jan. 29-31
If you think art makes a good appetizer for wine (or vice versa), you might consider dropping by the Cambria Art & Wine Festival, which sets up shop for its 14th year Jan. 29-31.
Admission is $30.
The event begins Friday morning with shopping specials, raffle ticket sales, wine tasting and artists demonstrating their skills throughout the village. In the evening, a kickoff party is planned at the Veterans Memorial Building to preview the art show and silent auction. Participants include Robin’s Restaurant, Indigo Moon, Moonstone Beach Bar & Grill, The Black Cat, Madeline’s, Four Lanterns Winery, Harmony Cellars, Lone Madrone, J. Lohr and Sculpterra.
On Saturday, the Cambria Center for the Arts Gallery will open with an art display, artists demonstrating on site and wineries pouring. There will also be wine tasting at the Vets Hall and Cambria Historical Museum, featuring dozens of participating wineries. An art show and silent auction featuring local artists’ original creations will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the hall.
Additional venues at Indigo Moon and The Pub will be open Saturday evening, with an Artist’s Faire, wine tasting and barbecue lunch set for Sunday. Raffle drawings will be held at the end of the event at the Artist’s Faire.
The $30 ticket gives eventgoers access to wine pour venues within the village and the three main pours: Saturday at the Veterans Memorial Building, CCA Gallery and Museum, as well as the Saturday art show and Sunday Artist’s Faire.
