The Cambria Vineyard Church Creative Community presents “Matters of the Heart,” a show featuring paintings, photographs and sculptures, beginning Feb. 4 at Cambria Center for the Arts Gallery.

CVC Creative Community is a gathering of local artists connected by their faith and a desire to share in their artistic gifts. Featured work includes paintings by Denise Brill, Patrick Guerre, Paula Guiney, Ruthanne Howald, Jayne Koontz, Suzette Morrow, Frank Walker and Kelly Ward; photographs by Nina Margo and Amy Yetter; and sculptures by Nita Fishburn, Bonnie McElwain and Kelly Ward.

Members of the public will be able to meet the artists at a reception from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5. Admission is free and includes live music, refreshments and wine bar.

The current show, which runs through Jan. 31, features a driftwood horse sculpted by Brent Hopkins of Cambria that measures 12 feet long by 7 feet tall and 3 1/2 feet high.

The Cambria Center for the Arts is at 1350 Main St., between the East and West Villages in the historic Cambria Grammar School. It features the largest display of local art in Cambria. Gallery hours are 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
