Black and white will be the theme for the Cambria Center for the Arts’ next art show, which opens Jan. 7. A reception featuring live music, refreshments and a wine bar is scheduled for 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8.

The Black & White Show features local artists interpreting the theme in a variety of ways, whether metaphorically or literally; some artists will make use of color, as well. Admission to the exhibit is free.

Cambria Center for the Arts features the largest display of local art in Cambria, including the works of well-known and award-winning artists.

The center’s gallery is at 1350 Main St. in the Old Cambria Grammar School. For more information, call 927-8190.
