Folk-blues group Haunted Windchimes to play Cambria Beer
Cambria Beer Company will host a concert from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, featuring folk and blues by Haunted Windchimes.
Tickets, $25, available at Cambria Beer, include a glass of beer.
The Cambria concert is one stop on Haunted Windchimes Western tour, which includes stops in San Francisco, Oakland, Fresno, Long Beach, Sacramento, Reno, Salt Lake City and Denver.
The Haunted Windchimes group, based in Colorado, includes Inaiah Lujan (guitar), Desirae Garcia (ukulele), Chela Lujan (banjo) and Mike Clark (harmonica, fiddle, mandolin, guitar and concertina); all do vocals.
These are exciting days at Cambria Beer. Owner Aaron Wharton posted recently on his Facebook page that the firm will be announcing its new name Sept. 27.
The renaming is necessary, as Cambria Beer discovered on New Year’s Eve 2014, because Kendall-Jackson Estate Winery and the Cambria Estate Winery in Santa Maria has trademarked the combination of “Cambria” and the implication of alcohol.
Rather than enduring a prolonged, expensive legal battle, Aaron and Jennifer Wharton decided to change their firm’s name.
