Coast Unified School District trustees will consider a 2016-17 budget plan for adoption at their next board meeting, scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, June 30, in the conference room at the Old Cambria Grammar School, 1350 Main St.
A 5 p.m. closed session is planned prior to the open session. In addition to the budget, trustees in open session will consider approving collective bargaining agreements with the North Coast School Employees Association No. 432 and the Coast Cambria Teachers Association.
Also on the agenda are consideration of a new confidential/management salary schedule and agreement with confidential/management agreement, to run from July 1, 2016, through June 30, 2018. A new job description for the administrative secretary to the superintendent is also up for consideration.
Presentations are planned from art teacher Suzette Morrow on the district’s art program and drama coach Randy Schwalbe on the drama program.
