Pewter Plough’s ‘Red, White and Tuna’ premiere pushed back a week

The premiere of the Pewter Plough Playhouse two-man show featuring Jeff Walters and Michael Shanley, “Red, White and Tuna,” has been delayed a week.

“Due to some technical difficulties, we are postponing the opening of Red, White and Tuna for one week,” Anita Schwaber, publicist for the theater.

The play’s preview night will now be June 24, a week later than the original opening date, with the Gala Champagne Opening set for June 25. The play will now run through July 24.

Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays. Admission is $17 for preview night and $30 for the Gala Champagne Opening. Tickets for all other shows are priced at $22 for regular admission and $17 for students with ID. Groups of 10 or more receive a 10 percent discount with reservations made via a single advance payment.

Actual performance dates are June 24-26 and July 1-3, 8-10, 15-17 and 22-24..
