Adult Coloring Club adds extra session at Cambria Library
The Adult Coloring Club at the Cambria Library was such a success that Destiny Carter, senior library associate and the club’s founder, is planning an extra session this month. Details: 927-4336.
The two June gatherings of people who’ll spend a quiet, Zen-like hour filling in artistic outlines in adult coloring books will be on the 17th and 24th, at 4:30 p.m. in the library, 1043 Main St. At press deadline, a few spots still were open in each session.
Carter said Tuesday, June 7, that 14 people attended the May 27 inaugural for the group, a concept profiled in The Cambrian.
Carter said the extra June session “is to accommodate some people who wanted to be here and couldn’t be.”
Other sessions are tentatively set for July 29 and Aug. 26.
The library provides coloring pages, markers and pencils, but participants are welcome to bring their own.
