The Giants scored 10 runs in the first two innings and went on to win their second game of the season.
Jack May and Michael Dubnow each had two hits, Robert Saunders pitched effectively, and Diego Fernandez hit a home run, the first one hit this season by a Giants player.

The quality of effort by the Giants’ players “made it so difficult to decide on a game ball that they each got one,” Saunders explained.
Meanwhile the Cambria Reds’ season ended Tuesday, May 31, as the Morro Bay Brewers defeated the Reds 12-3 in their playoff opener.
Coach Gary Stephenson said his team made errors and didn’t hit the ball in clutch situations.
Still, Stephenson said, “This is the hardest working Reds team” he’s ever had.
